Process of  Assignment of Trademark 

Execution of Assignment Deed - A registered or unregistered trademark can be purchased and transferred with goodwill by execution of an Assignment Deed against consideration and filing of the assignment in the Trademark Registry.

Fees Payable: The Govt Fee of INR 9000 is payable for a registered Trademark and INR 1800 for each unregistered trademark as a transfer charge plus 6% stamp duty on transaction value      

Time Duration: The assignment takes effect from the date of execution of the Assignment deed and formal order of assignment of trademark is filed in two to three months.
